What is this Cops Busted website about?

Let me start by telling you that I have plenty of close friends who are Police Officers, but apparently there are a few bad apples ruining the image and perception of the Good, Honest and dedicated Law Enforcement Officers.

Here we can publish the indiscretions of those who abuse their powers.

Not just can you view articles and videos here, but you can also join us and post your own contributions. We are not here to bash on Police Officers, but try to correct the recent trends that have created the distance between the community and the Police Officers.

I remember when Cops were, and acted like normal people. I understand they are held to a higher standard, and should as most of youth sees them as Role Models. But, recently Cops seem to think they are either above, or better than those who pay their salaries. Did we forget that Police Officers and Public Servants hired to Serve and Protect the community? Saying "hello" to people and smiling is not above anyone, but it will cause a return smile!

I am tired of walking by a Police Officer in uniform, saying "hello" out of respect, and receiving and look like I did something wrong.

Hence this website was created in an effort to regain the communication between Community and Officer.
