It’s becoming a disturbingly familiar scene in America - aggressive, overbearing and mentally unstable cops who think that it is an arrestable offense not to obey their every order - harassing citizens who have done absolutely nothing wrong.

The video below shows an El Paso, Texas Police officer abusing his Police powers to arrest an ABC news reporter and his camera man for filming a traffic accident.

Darren Hunt and cameraman Ric DuPont, were standing behind a barrier, away from the car wreck but were quickly approached by Sgt. Ramirez - who immediately shouted that they had to leave.

On the video it appears as the two reporters are far away from the accident scene to not be involve in the "police scene", so how can this Police Officer issue an order to leave an area. The only thing they might be doing wrong is pulling over on the emergency lane of traffic, but then they are reporters and just trying to bring the news to the public. Look at how many other people are also parked on the side of the road observing the accident scene, why pick on the Reporter; because he has a camera?

The major thing to take away from watching this video is the insane behavior of the cop and his belief that citizens must comply with his every order or face arrest. Buddy this is not a communist country, and I believe this Texas Law Enforcement Officer stepped over the line and should be himslef arrested for Unlawful Imprisonment and Violation of Rights!

But I might be wrong, share your thoughts and leave a comment below about this.

Oh Sgt. Ramirez is on desk duties, and rightfully so!
