Cops Busted
Cops Busted is not about bashing the Police, but that few bad apples. For the most part, most Police Officers are respectable, but in current years I am not happy with the trend and course Law Enforcement has taken. Did they forget they are Public Servants - To SERVE and PROTECT! Cops are not above the law, nor are they better than other people.

Pembroke Pines Police running radar on Mother's Day
It's Mother's day and the Pembroke Pines Police Department is running radar. There are so many other things to be doing other than running radar on a Sunday - Mother's day at that - What don't they have moms? Hey, here is a suggestion, drive around the neighborhoods looking for real criminals, and in the process wave and say "hi" or maybe "thanks" to those who pay your salaries.

One of the reasons this aggravates me so much is because the previous night I was talking with a friend, who is a Police officer about how his relative's home was broken into and the responding officer did not even collect any finger prints from the scene, when there were several obvious prints available. When he called the officer, he was told that if he saw prints to collect them himself. So the Pembroke Pines Police department has time to run traffic radar on a Sunday, but yet can't properly process a crime scene!

Just one more thing, before I go spend the rest of the day with my mother and wife, does the City of Pembroke Pines not have an ordinance against parking on sidewalks? These officers obviously have no respect for the owner of that plaza either since they are stopping the vehicles and ordering the cars to park on the lawn that has to later be maintained by the owner of the plaza. The Pembroke Pines police vehicles are also parked on the grass, and sidewalk - blocking pedestrian traffic. If you are going to enforce laws, lead by example.

Now I don't know about anyone else, but there seems to be this lack of respect for the people who pay their salaries!

If this kind of behavior bothers you or you have other complaints about the Pembroke Pines Police department, let the Pembroke Pines Mayor know:
